Four national baseball squads will converge in Arizona next Tuesday to begin play of the inaugural World Baseball Classic. The top two teams in Pool B will advance to the second round, which will be held March 12-16 in Anaheim.

Among the players set to take the field are countless Major Leaguers, including Canada's Jason Bay, Mexico's Jorge Cantu and Roger Clemens, Billy Wagner and Mark Teixeira of the United States.

Below, projected lineups and likely starters for Pool B:

United States
Lineup: Johnny Damon LF, Derek Jeter SS, Ken Griffey Jr. CF, Alex Rodriguez 3B, Chipper Jones DH, Derrek Lee 1B, Jason Varitek C, Vernon Wells RF, Michael Young 2B
